The SIDEKICK,  Schacht's portable wheel, is a great addition to the travelling wheel family. Fully integrated storage of bobbins, flyer, and whorls for transport. Lightweight at 13 lbs, long comfortable treadles. Folds to 21.5" h x 8.25" w x 15" d.

The Sidekick uses the same bobbins, whorls, and flyer as the Schacht Matchless and Ladybug wheels. Employs Scotch tension with precise control knob, 25" orifice height, ball bearings on drive wheel. 

The Sidekick comes with 3 travel bobbins (plastic core), fast and medium whorls, threading hook and adjustable carry strap. 

Also available as an optional accessories are the Bulky Plyer Flyer, extra bobbins and whorls.

Whorl Ratio - fast = 9:1, 11:1, medium, 6.25:1, 7.5:1. Slow and High whorls can be purchased separately.
