Ashford Hand Cards, 72 and 108 point, 5 sizes

Ashford hand cards have a large surface for carding or blending fibres and creating rolags for woollen spinning. Made of solid wood with curved back and  ergonomic handles and flexible, hard wearing rubber cloth. Ashford carders have a natural wood finish which can be enhanced with wood stain, wax or polish.

Different kinds of carders are available: Classic with 72 and 108 psi, (for finer fibres and cotton), Small with 72 and 108 psi and finally, one piece Student  Carders with 72 psi (all one piece, no screw on handle). 

New, 190 pt Cotton Hand Carders, with extra large carding area. These carders are suitable for all fine fibres such as Angora, Yak, Camel and Cashmere.
