Schacht Hand Cards

Built with the same care and attention that Schacht puts into all of it's products, large Hand Cards are available in three gauges of carding cloth, 72 psi (points per square inch) for most fibres, 112 psi for fine wool and downy fibres and 208 for cotton and short fibres. All carders are available with curved or straight backs. 

Carders have a small lip milled into the rear edge of the paddle to protect the card cloth from becoming worn and the handles have been precisely tenoned into the paddles for superior strength. 

72 pt Curved = 1 lb per pair and the carding area is 7 3/4" X 5"

72 pt Straight = 1.25 lb, 10" x 5"

112 pt Curved = 1.5 lb, 10.5" x 4". 112 Straight = 1.5 lb, 7.75" x 4"

208 pt Curved = 1.9 lb, 9.75" x 3". Straight = 1.9lb

Flick Carder = 5 oz, 3.9" x 3.9"   Mini Carders = 9 oz, 3" x 3"
